Join our committee! 

We host monthly committee meetings to discuss upcoming events, social media growth, fundraising ideas and new initiatives to grow in our community. 
Meetings are held on the first Monday each month at 7.30pm and all are welcome! You can find out further details on the next meeting on our Facebook Page here, or by emailing us.

Become a professional member

Professional Membership is designed for midwives whose clients wish to birth at home, to give you a selection of benefits and services. And of course your gift provides much-needed funds for Home Birth Canterbury’s work to support, protect and promote homebirth as a safe option for women in Canterbury.
Memberships fees are an annual charge of $50 per midwife and your benefits are - 

• Accessing our beautiful hampers for your clients 

• Hiring birth pools at a discounted rate

• Receive promotion via our online midwife directory

• Opportunity to join our monthly meetings and any events we host
